Bandcamp Weekly Featuring Sudan Archives

We were approached by the great folks at Bancamp to create a cover illustration for their weekly radio show. This week's show features music by Trio Da Kali & Kronos Quartet, Nosaj Thing, Indian Wells, and Moses Sumney, plus guests Sudan Archives and Photay.

We featured this week's guest Sudan Archives in our illustration. Whoa! What an impressive artist! Not only is she a self taught violinist, but she is also a vocalist, writer and producer of her own music. Sudan's music takes inspiration from traditional Sudanese fiddlers, west African rhythms, R&B and electronic music. Sudan released her debut album last month on Stones Throw Records, she is based in Los Angeles.

We absolutely loved working on this project and discovering Sudan's refreshing sound. Make sure you check out this week's show and support her music of course $£...

Quartz Africa Innovators reactions

Earlier this month 33 African innovators were recognised by Quartz in Durban, South Africa as part of the World Economic Forum on Africa. We are amazed at the great feedback we have received from this year's list and our illustrations. If you haven't please make sure you read the list featuring men and women from 18 African countries doing groundbreaking work in technology, science, medicine, agriculture, entrepreneurship, business...with impact on the entire African continent and the rest of the world.
