London > Paris > Marseille > Cannes > Nice

Just came back to London, after spending a great 10 days in the south of France! We went rock climbing in Calanques (in sandals, we didn't know any better), traveled to Frioul and Pointe-Rouge islands; went to Cannes and Nice and much more. I kept my notebook handy, so I've added some drawings below. Enjoy

Iles du Frioul - The Frioul archipelago is a group of 4 islands located off the Mediterranean coast of France, approximately at 4km from Marseille.

Calanque is a narrow, steep-walled inlet that is developed in limestone and dolomite and found along the Mediterranean coast. This range extends for 20km in length and 4km in width along the coast between Marseille and Cassis.

Calanques - This is the highest point along the calanques located at Mount Puget (565 meters).

La Friche de la Belle de Mai or simply La Friche - is a former tobacco factory near Saint-Charles train station in Marseille (it's not as near as we thought it was), in 1992 it was converted into a cultural complex; including a skate park, exhibition space, shops, children's corner and a large terrasse that hosts events.
